    Default Dendrochilum javierense

    I hoped the flowers wld be more yellowish iso greenish, but that's what happens when you buy plants which are not blooming.

    very nice...this orchid, we here in NZ like to call "rat orchids". pretty self explanatory if you ask me.....i have acoridium/dendrochilum tenellum (i prefer acoridium, it just sounds cooler), but i have no idea how to flower it. any ideas?

    I also have a 'tenellum'. Shld flower in a couple of months.
    I keep it in intermediate temperatures and light conditions, fertilize it every two weeks and water it very regularly (by flushing the plant once weekly and misting it every day rather profusively).

    ok, but remember we are in opposite hemispheres. it is just peaking summer here and getting really hot. so about july it should flower for me i guess.
    int. temps...better bring it inside, but its in good light now so thats no worry.
