Default NOID or lost label Bc hybrid.

This is a hybrid between a Brassavola and a cattleya ; I have grown it for at least 10 years under the name Bc Mai Lai but now find that Orchidwiz doesn't know it . Of course the B is not the usual one in cattleyas - Brassovola digbyana ( now Rhyncolaelia) but something like B.perrinnii I should imagine.
My plant actually came from East Germany , just after reunification - I went on a driving holiday just to have a look at places I had heard of but never seen, and found this nursery ; they said I was their first visitor from the West and gave me this plant as a souvenir. However I have seen the plant on offer at shows several times, and think it must have been made several times.

Any suggestions about proper name wiull be appreciated.

It wouldn't be Maikai would it?? My Bc. Maikai cross is in bud right now. I've got the clone 'pearly shell' that will be blooming anyday now....waiting for buds to open is such sweet torture! The lovely color and shape look like Maikai...

Maikai it is - it was a handwritten label, and t he k and l are easily confused; after several suggestions about this I looked at it on Orchidwiz and there are 16 pics there , several of which could have been of my flowers. So this is one I will write with confidence. ( actually I use a labelling machine now - the labels don't fade and the print is a lot mor legible than my handwrriting - but it still doesn't stop visitors lifting labels to look at the name and putting them back in the wrong pot....)
