    Default Pennilabium struthio

    Another small orchid, this time native to Borneo.
    Last year the flowers were very nice spotted (first picture), this year no one spot. Strange.

    What a bizarre little flower! Never heard of this one before. I do like its spotted phase better but interesting all the same.

    Well, I really like the spotted blooming, but an interesting orchid bloom either way. I too wonder if it is temperature that causes such a difference?
