Beautiful, Vincent. But it could be C verrucosa as both of them are very difficult to tell apart. I find that the best way is to look at the pseudobulb - verrucosa has flattened pbulbs.

Great green and black orchid bloom, Vincent. Coelogyne pandurata seems correct, but I will reserve judgment until some folks who grow it can answer. I did a quick google image search and it looks similar anyway.

looks like C. verrucosa to me, referring to the "warts". C.pandurata also has flattened pbulbs.

What a stunning orchid. It looks like a butterfly is emerging from the center of the flower. I get the feeling it is 'warm' growing. Can you tell me its other cultural requirements? Thanks for posting these photographs! AL
