    Default Lepanthes wendlandii

I really liked this one. It's a "big" Lepanthes, but not a huge one. Looks like it is quite vigorous - thick leaves, sturdy stems, etc... The form and color are outstanding.
Grown by Ecuagenera in their cooler-growing nursery at Gualaceo, Ecuador (near Cuenca).

What a lovely miniature. I can admire these, but I am afraid our long New Mexico summers would not suit these cool growers. AL

I think you're right! They do really well as terrarium plants. This is one of the ones that doesn't need cool temps to do well. It does need high humidity and constant moisture at the roots, though. If you get the bug, I think a terrarium would be the way to go.

If I had the humidity I'd love to grow some of those really cool looking minis.

They really like the humidity. I was thinking about doing them in mason jars, but ended up with a more traditional terrarium approach.
