It is an Angraecum. It looks close to Angraecum sesquipedale but the lip seems too broad, so I think it is a hybrid. There may be several that look similar. How large are the plant and flower?

Its not a Sequipedale for sure, the growth habit is different. I will weigh in on an Angraecum hybrid like Angracum lemforde (sesquipedale X magdalene). Very Beautiful though, where did you get it from?

Slight correction, Angcm. (sesquipedale x magdalenae) is Lemförde White Beauty. I asked about the size to help narrow it down between large plants like Veitchii (sesquipedale x eburneum) or Crestwood (sesquipedale x Veitchii) or somewhat smaller plants like Lemförde White Beauty or Stephanie (Veitchii x magdalenae). A clearer picture of the foliage would help too. Like any unidentified hybrid it may be impossible to make a definite identification. But it certainly is graceful and attractive, whatever it is.

Well. I still do not own it. One of the vendors is selling it. What are its cultural requirements though? Does it like warm growing conditions? If so I might buy it

I finally got the plant over the weekend. Quite a few roots had to be cut off and dipped it in H2O2 for now. Can anyone suggest how to go about potting this guy? I have CHC, charcoal, LECA and broken tile/clay pot/brick pieces which I typically use on other plants. This plant is probably abt 1.5 feet tall and one healthy root doing better as it was probably an aerial root. Does this guy need lots of sunlight as well or more shade? The vendor mentioned that it was an Angraceum species, if that helps. It had one dried out flower as well. Though the flower was totally wilted, I could still get some decently strong scent and it makes me all the more excited to get this guy back to health at the earliest!

Hi Satish, look like magdalene and also Lemford beauty, maybe hybrids, for this genera they love charcoal , bright sunlight and prefer to have dry at root level, too wet may kill the roots sooner or later. You can add coconut chips on top of charcoal.

Hi Zain, thanks for the detailed info. I actually already potted it using mostly charcoal, and put a little CHC on top and few pieces in the middle. I thought the same as the guy who sold me, potted it in CHC, but quite a few roots were rotting. So, put it in an airy basket, and added the above potting media to the plant. I will try to post a picture of the potted plant.
