Went to an orchid show in Aachen, Germany over the weekend. The number of orchids being displayed was quite impressive. Even larger was the number of orchids for sale and as usual, I could not resist and headed home with a couple of new dendrochilums.
The first one to show is a Dendrochilum glumaceum. A fairly large specimen with a strong and relatively sweet scent.
And here's a much bigger plant still that was on display at the show
a nice clone with a deeper orange lip, congrats!
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
From looking at that display orchid, I can see why you purchased this Dendrochilum. What a beauty. It will quickly become a specimen.
Rudy, it is hard to resist such beauty, I know . On the first photo there is another, smaller one, which one is this?
Lovely dendrochilums. Love how the blooms arranged in neat formation. Thanks for sharing Rudy.
Very fine plant and flowers. It looks like a wonderful purchase. Why resist beauty? AL
The little one is a Dendrochilum parvulum.
I am slowly turning into a bit of a Dendrochilum freak I'm afraid.
