The local hardware stores sell flourescent fixtures relatively cheap, but also special "plant" bulbs (that aren't very bright). So I guess I am asking if I should use regular white light bulbs, the plant spectrum, or mix one of each?
Cris, I've never seen any need to go with the plant lights. The daylight spectrum cfls seem to do just fine.

Very nice. Thinking of using my old disused aquarium for the same purpose.

Same here . Great set up, Duane. Could you please share more of your terrarium photos in the future. Can't seem to get enough of it. Thanks again Duane.

Hey, all! I just looked again - I misstated the light bulbs. I am using 3 100w equivalent and 1 60w equivalent.
