    Sean,
    as I only had the plant for a few months, I am not an expert. I grow mine in a mix similar to Lycaste and Stanhopeas : I use a mixture of styrofoam chips, epiweb, CHC and perlite, ensuring that there is less CHC at the bottom of the pot and more at the top. This is important as CHC needs air to dry out. Intermediate conditions and slightly brighter than Phalaenopsis. My plant gets a little sun (but not full on) in the morning and evening. The plant got two new growths, but I don't know yet how well the roos are growing and whether it will flower again next year.

    I'd love to see a pic of the whole plant . There was one of these in my Orchid Society Auction Sale a month ago ; a large heavy clump with very few leaves . I was told they are supposed to look like that , but being sceptical, I wouldn't bid for it - could have got it for three or four pounds sterling (US$5) but it's still not cheap if it takes for ever to grow into something worthwhile or never does that .
