    Default Hamelswellsara June 'Indigo Sue'

    Nice blooms but funny name hehe, with all these new hybrid names, I am sure some day I will find a post here in OT about any orchid named Ameya hehe

    Very nice blooms. Checked up on the generic name and found that it is a real complex hybrid of 5 genera and the zygopetalum seems to be dominant here. Thanks for posting.

    Betty, im no expert, but if the Zygo is dominant, it will probs have the putrid stench that goes with them......What are the 5 generas that go into this one? im curious now!

    First Yew and Jordan, I thank you for looking up the exact mix that went into this hybrid. I find the information you gave very interesting. Betty and Jordan, I gave these flowers the sniff test (very scientific you know) last evening. It smells like soap to me. I know, not impressive, but at least it doesn't smell bad. AL
