    Default Lycaste cruenta

Lycaste cruenta is a great fragrant Lycaste species for cooler climates like the San Francisco Bay Area. Lycaste aromatica sulks but cruenta thrives here! Blooms Mayish for me -- flowers have a distinct deep red spot at base of lip and in throat. Happy Growing! Mike

So beautiful. Wonderful orchid blooms. I am glad you pointed out the red spots. I would have missed them.

    Cheers,
