    Default Cadetia Taylori

I bought two very micro mini Orchids recently. I found a spot I thought would be good for them and basically forgot about them. I guess that is the best method...the Cadetia has a bloom and several places where other blooms are forming. I have had them over a month so I'm claiming the blooms.

In the last picture the Cadetia is the bottom of the two tiny plants on the right side.

Very cute! Mine is one I have had for many years...one of my older orchids. It still fascinates me with that tiny, perfect flower!

Connie, I think your developing one heck of a collection of orchids. This is a very fine example of the diversity of it. AL

Not sure about the ID of your C. taylori. Does the flower have hairy lip?
    Nice addition BTW.

I can't get a close enough look to answer that question. It came labeled this way...so if it's something else let me know and i'll update. And as to a couple comments about the "display"...i got this driftwood piece from a local artist that uses driftwood for his artwork. I like this corner...it evolved as a spot for lowlight/repotted plants awhile back.

Lovely orchid bloom Connie. Congratulations on the blooms and the cool orchid corner driftwood display setup.

My Cadetia is still blooming. The third flower bud is beginning to look like it'll open soon. While the other two flowers are still looking good. I finally got a good enough look at the lip to say it doesn't appear to be fuzzy although the stem directly behind the flower is.

While the flowers are tiny, this is one can do orchid! It has at least three new growths opening and somewhere around 7 new buds...two on the same pbulb. I thought they only did one flower at a time. The latest pictures this morning included this fun one. Down bottom you can see two new bud sheaths, and another bud emerging from a previously bloomed pbulb.
