    Default Encyclia prismatocarpa in Bloom.

This orchid has three spikes and 27 buds. Unfortunately the spikes have a mind of their own and I was scared of breaking them if I tried to straighten them to much. I am not the best photographer, nor is this the best camera for good orchid pictures. Anyway its nice to see this bloom though I admit I thought they were even showier flowers than this. The lip on this is pink and yellow. The petals are a medium green with maroon spots. The very center of the flowers are also maroon. Citrus scented, but not strongly. AL

Don't seem to have any luck with this one: I had two small seedlings (1-2"). Both died: even if they didn't I probably would have to wait years for flowers looking at the size of your plant
