    Default Specklinia costaricensis

Specklinia costaricensis - evidently Specklinia have been moved to Pleurothallis - in any event here is costaricensis, that name kinda gives its location away. A miniature found at 650 to 1800 ft. This little fella blooms 3 to 4 times per year for me. You can see the last set of stems still dry on the plant - guess I need to do some spring cleaning.

Great growing Don! Looks like a very nice display of blooms on a healthy orchid plant.

Wally, I have had this plant for 5 years. Once I broke off a whole stem, no roots, just stem. I stuck it back into the moss, thinkin I just wasted a whole stem. It grew. This little guy is tough. He sits in sphag. moss with a group of Masd. under 4 bulbs, 40 watts each. Gets R.O. water weekly and fed weakly each watering. One watering a month is pure water, no fertilizer.
    Thanks all for the comments.
