    Geoff, you can see the "pocketlike flap on the disc of the lip" quite well on this picture

    And this shows how the "pouch" looks ftom the fromt

    It is hard to tell from your pictures, but should make the plant easily recognizable and identifiable.

    Great blooming: Did you hear back on the S reichenbachiana?

    Jack was in a funny mood when I talked to him on Saturday, and after buying a plant from him which I have now remembered he declared to be Miltonidium Breathless 'Florence' and researching that and finding that Mtps Breathless 'Florence' is the only orchid registered within a mile of that name - and nothing like the one I have (although gorgeous in its own right)I am reminded of too many occasions when I found that he was the only source for a plant I wanted, and when I bought it found it was not true to name ... so all in all, I decided not pursue that line.

    Thanks for the info about marsupialis - yes mine is true ; I just didn't recognize the disc for what it is.
