    Default Sievekingia marsupialis

This plant is said to be named from the pouch like part on the lip . Huh ? Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. I can't see much difference from the S.suavis I showed a few weeks ago , and in fact ( since the latter has another spike now open) putting them side by side, they just seem like colour variations of the same thing.
maybe they are. When were a trader's labels 100% accurate ?

    I love it.
I ordered one and I'm waiting for it to arrive ....

What conditions do you give it?

I grow it with my Gongoras - hanging up, but on the shady side of the greenhouse. Sprayed quite often; like dauily when I'm in, even twice daily if it is clear sun all day. Dipped once every 10 days or so. Compost is Perlite/sphagnum moss - in a plastic basket or net pot.

    Thank you!
I'll do the same and hope for some flowers!

Interesting to see that you are another Slovenian orchidist - if only I'd known when I visited Lake Bled , I might have had more to do than swim and walk...although I did enjoy those activities.

Wow ! I love it, can't wait for mine to bloom, it can many years though since it is a small seedling. Out of all the stanhopea like orchids that I took back to India only this one is doing good, the others are clearly struggling, they are not dying but having many abortive growths.
