    This species occurs in Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Ecuador from sea level to 1000m.

    Plant size 5-6cm. The flowers are barely 5mm wide. Warm to intermediate conditions.

    Very cool orchid bloom. It looks like a sea creature! Your photography is exceptional. Love the lighing and being able to see the tiny little hairs on this orchid's blooms.

    Great detail on these blooms. I am not always big on 'hair' on orchid flowers, but these look so warm and fuzzy they would loss much of their charm without these features. AL
