Congrats on the very good culture - thus the four spikes. With the heat wave we're experiencing you will be getting some odd mix of male and female flowers and maybe some hermaphrodites as well. ( It happened to one of my cataetums, once).

i think i had one here, just bloomed today. female with trigger pollina. funny thing is two more buds develping, the last one a male in the usualy resupinated form but the second bud is in the supinated form, will see whats inside in a few days when it blooms. will post in a few days when it fully blooms. so its a female/hermaphrodite, a supinated and a resupinated flower in one spike.

What a great plant! I love how the roots are crawling all over the pot, and those flowers - wow! Thanks for letting us see it.

thanks Patty and Bruce. but i just visited the nursery owner that sold me this particular plant but he told me that "theoretically" there can be more given the right condition but its rare. the only thing i forgot to ask is what is the max spike that he came across so far. just slipped my mind....gosh!!
