Thanks everyone for appreciating. Connie the plants were planted about 6 to 7 years ago with brick pieces and pot shards in the bottom and coconut husk as the main media. Over the years the coconut husk has rotted away and has been washed off with the almost daily watering and big drainage holes. Now they look almost bareroot with a small amount of coconut husk sticking to some old roots and the brick and pot shards at the bottom. The roots have really adhered well to the pots. I will not touch them, I have observed that vandaeceous hold a grudge against you if you mess with them and handle them too much, they do not like their roots to be disturbed.
