Gorgeous bloom Vincent. I can sympathize with the determination to want, need and have a plant grow and bloom for ourselves. I had this insistance and persistance with the Pshycopsis oncid and would not give up.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Thanks for all the condolences, the euphoria was short-lived.

Someone saw this particular plant and decided to offer some obscene money for it ...roughly around 3 times the price i paid for it. I happily relinquished it. Who knows, it might prosper in her hands

    Cheers

Good move Vincent .... at least now you don't have to worry for it and you made an extra buck from the sale.

Haha. Nice one, vincent. I have the same problem as you. Vaginatum is the one of the slowest growing bulbos in my conditions, despite it being a relatively common roadside epiphyte.. It is very prone to rots..

Some time back, I tied some Bulbo vaginatum on a remote tree on top of a steep hill. Today, I went up the hill to check on the plant and I'm thrilled to see that its starting to take root and grow.

Same thing happens to the Bulbophyllum macranthum that I tied on the adjacent tree. Its starting to creeP!!

    Vincent
