    Default Angraecum Lemforde White Beauty

There should be an umlaut over the "o" - but they are not used in Englisjh so are not quickly accessible on my keyboard ( just being pernickety ! ).
I don't think I grow Angraecums very well for me - although the plant is flowering ; bought as a young plant a few years ago. I guess they are quite slow growing - it's like watching paint dry as the saying goes.
I also don't actually see the point of this cross ; in most respects this is just Ang sesquipedale, but only six inches across instead of seven, and with a 9 inch spur instead of a 12 inch one. So what ? I am an ungrateful chap it seems.
Maybe you'll like it more than I do

Yay! Another Angraecum Lemforde White Beauty . Congratulations! I love the flower and the scent during the night. Mine is about to bloom, too.

Wow, I really love this one. It is actually quite different from sesquipedale, the flower form is fuller, the lip broader and the colour pure white than creamish. I think the plant is also compact compared to the monstrous sesquipedale. I don't think it would have received an AM/AOS if it was unworthy. Having said that, if it still fails to impress you, I am ready with arms outstretched for it LOL.

I haven't tried yet - got back from a short holiday in France yesterday and after a long day travelling ( its not that far, but airport delays, then traffic congestion meant that I had been up for 18 hours or so by the time I sat down to watch the News on TV - and woke up an hour later to go to bed)... tonight maybe I'll remember to look and smell.
