About 3 weeks. Funny thing is that I learned that the spike does not like the HID light. As I saw a spike a few years ago, I turned it over facing the light. Immediately, the spike got wilted. It is very shy and blooms again the light.

BTW, thank you again for nice comments. If you have a chance to find this plant, it is highly recommended.

Can really see the sesquipedale influence. Lovely flower but way too big ov a plant for me.

I see what you mean. Speaking of the size, Angm. Crestwood... It is a hybid in between Veitchii, a cross of eburneum x sesquipedale and sesquipedale. Holy Cow. It grows so big, so fast.

I had one nice plant growing before and then it got top rot ... the most dreaded disease of vandaceous type orchids. It's a good thing it sent out a small keiki at the base which I was able to save just before the whole plant finally succumbed to the disease. I still have the keiki but it is growing ever so slowly. This was one of my most favorite plants mainly because of the strong evening scent that filled my whole grow area including my living room and that came from only one flower. I can just imagine how stronger the scent will be if it had more than one bloom!

Gorgeous. One of the very best Angraecum hybrids. At least 5 clones of Lemforde White Beauty have received AM/AOS. Do you know which one this is?

    Just an update....

It is still in bloom and smells GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. As the lights go off, the scent gets released.
