    Who considers putidum and fascinator synonymous? Kew monocot list considers them both as valid species.

    This one is actually Bulbophyllum thiurum, new species found in Malaysia.

    I agree with Kaew is not plumatum (red color) but thiurum, as far as I'm concern is not free flowering in captivity slow growing, your considered lucky. Nice one Ian.

    ok, thanks for the ID, did check it out from IOSPE. TOTALLY AGREE seems like there is too many mistake going on in this particular thread. hehehehehe

    I am not sure of the publication, but a google search of 'bulbophyllum/mastigion putidum will yield some pics of fascinator.
