    BTW, If my knowledge is correct most leafless orchids needs high humidity .... so be informed about this cultural requirement.

    That would be because it has no leaves to transpire, and it will lose more water through the roots than the leaves (if it had any), as the roots serve a dual purpose. The leaves serve as a storage organ almost for water. Leafless orchids are so cool!
