    Not my picture, not my plant - if only ! But having seen it I wanted to share with you.
    I'm told that it was taken at latitude 9 degrees - which I think may mean 9 North, i.e. Venezuela, just south of Trinidad, although 9 South , off the coast of Pernambuco (Brazil) is another possibility. Altitude 20 metres above sea-level. Said to be "in the wild" although it could be in someone's back garden .
    Enjoy ? Or just go back to my collection and trash the lot, I'll never achieve that standard.

    I wouldn't take the stunning quality of this plant to heart, Geoff - IMHO, high standards exist not to be met....

    Breathtaking. We shouldn't be able to match Mother's Nature's splendor. Even if this is in someone's back yard, it is obviously grown by MN.

    Gorgeous! You should look up a pic of brassavola nodosa at one of the Japan Orchid Grand Prix (not sure what year it was). Just mind blowing..

    Now that is a stunning Brassavola nodosa orchid!! WOW. If only I could grow 'm like that! (Maybe when I retire I can live somewhere where I can grow my orchids outdoors. )
