    ]It is a species , and once had a label, but no longer. Two spikes this year , and they don't open any wider than this. I do have Emily Siegrists book, but a quick flip through the piccys leave me no wiser. Jay says - in IOSPE - 1500 species, but he "only" ilustrates or describes 945 of them . Daunting !
    So I thought a short-cut. Someone here will tell me what to write on the label , apart from ( maybe) "sell"....

    Wow! Too bad it doesn't open more -- that sulphur yellow is brilliant.

    Bulbophyllum bittnerianum Schltr., in Orchis 4: 108, 1910. Appears to be endemic to Thailand.
