Incredible unique foliage! Enhanced by the strong new leaf growths and the unique bloom! Me want!!!! Interesting to know the function/ purpose of the fuzzy leaves. Defence against predators? a tool to filter/ increase light? control water flow run-off due to conditions of natural habitat.

A perfect example of an orchid which captures the attention of admirers for foliage aswell as bloom.

This is a gorgeous plant. This plant is from Costa Rica, 800 to 1100 mt, with succulent leaves so I think the hairs might have something to do with water and/or temperature control. All Dresslerella's are "hairy".

I find that plant ugly enough to be in my collection. I do not like pretty orchid foliage. I just like the flowers usually. Your pictures really show that plant at its best. (Or in my case at its ugliest)
