Yew I saw previously one of the nursery in Kuala Lumpur growing this plant however the flower is not as big as Naoki maybe to hot, I love this dwarf Sapronitis, really nice Naoki.

Gorgeous Sophronitis, Naoki! (And I have ceased to care what "changes" the taxonomists make. My plants will keep their old names.) As Jose mentioned, yours has unusually good form. Definitely a keeper! Too bad it only blooms once a year.

You wouldnt beleive it but theres is politics involved besides personal agendas in all this. Have you read "The Orchid Thief"? I really recommend it.

Jose, as I listened to a talk presented by Patricia Harding, it sounded all about politics if I remember correctly.

I really like S. cernua. I got some flasklings about 6 weeks ago, but unfortunately they haven't done very well for me. Only about 3-4 left so I'm not optimistic about getting any raised to blooming size. Yours is a real beauty.
    Nice job,
    Tony

i am not changing the name on mine either. I am sooooo sick of all the name changes....not to mention trying to explain them to a friend who is a novice orchid grower, and oddly enough expects an orchid to have the same name when she looks it up for info as it did when she bought it. Silly girl!

Anyway, your cernua is just lovely!!!
