That is wonderful!! Our Stanhopea candida is growing well, but no blooms or even a spike just yet. I hope it turns out even half as lovely as this one. I wonder if ours is getting too much sun. The leaves on yours look so dark and rich and the ones on my plant are light green. I also get black spots (not mushy or anything) but still bothersome. In another thread someone suggested that I should move my stanhopoea orchids into an area where they get move air movement. Any thoughts?

    Cheers,
    BD

The leaves relatively darker because of fertilizer I put on it this is the 3 rd times blooming for this year, here I put my plant under the tree received the light about 30 to 40 % I agree with those suggested to put more airy like mine depends on the natural air movement in this area, in between the media is easily become dry so I always spraying the water once especially in the evening. The black spots like mine I usually will cut it could be due to Phytophora. Wish yours will bloom soon. Zain.
