Need help to ID this fragrant orchid plant.

    Hi Jojo,
    there are clones with orange markings, mentioned in Jim's book.

    Ron thanks for your help. Does it mention if this species if Fragrant? In the IOSPE site there is nothing that indicates that it is fragrant. My plant is fragrant. Is Pholidota ventricosa fragrant? If so then this could definitely be it.

    nope, fragrance is not mentioned and i've never seen a flowering plant up close.

    hi, i think it's a Calanthe orchid species, i recently bought one but with no flower, it looks very similar. is it a terrestrial orchid? if it is, then it could be either calanthe or phaius.

    Your plant may be calanthe triplicata, which has similar pleated leaves and white flowers, but of a different shape.
