It has one flower with a frilly lip that is fused to the bottom sepal. Have you seen something like this before? Peloric?

I haven't killed them yet!!! No seriously, Gongora galeata is growing its new leaves quite happily. it seems to like the spot I chose for it. Laelia gouldiana is outside on the picnic table under the tree and gets evening rainshowers (mimicking the climate in its Mexican habitat) every couple of days if the days have been sunny and warm. On rainy days I bring it inside under the heat pump and hope it thinks it's hot Mexican wind blowing! The chinese terrestrials are outside. Blettilla striata is uncurling its leaf right now. Zygo mackayii is adding length to the new growth as is Gomeza crispa. The only one I don't know whether it likes me or not is the Paph insigne. The fans are about the same length as they were when I got it. Perhaps it's sulking and will get over it soon. I can't wait to see some growth, i.e. a hint that it might want to try living in my care. I love my new orchids very much. I thank you Jordan for great specimens! I'll for sure give you a division of my L. tenebrosa when it's time to divide it.

Hey no problem at all! I have some more here, dad almost threw EVERY SINGLE orchid in the bin today! I want them to go to a loving home.
I will PM you with more details in a few days

And with the paph, try shoving it into some Sphagnum moss. That may help him along

sorry to hear your dad is fed up with your orchids. He'll calm down, you'll see Keep me posted.

The paph is in sphag/bark mixture. I just have to be patient.
