Default bulbophyllum, oh you sneaky little rascal you!

so i know i go on endlessly about how wonderful taiwan is for growing orchids, how im always finding them in the garbage, how they are so cheap, how they'll practically grow themselves... and today's not going to be any different!
cuz my growing space is limited to a balcony, i have to come up with new places to stash all the plants i come home with every time i "just take a quick walk to the store" ...because i use a lot of coconut fiber lined hanging baskets for my ferns, bromeliads and pitcher plants, a while back i realized these were and untapped source of prime real estate! i started sticking some of my unexpected purchases to the outside of the baskets and low and behold, they loved it there...
now, since i quit smoking i dont spend nearly as much time out on the balcony as i used to, so sometimes i dont notice things straight away... last night the wind was twirling one of the baskets round and i caught glimpse of this sneaky little bugger hiding on the far side! not only had i not known it was flowering, but i had no idea it had grown so much! it was just one or two back bulbs when i pinned it there sometime in early spring...nice surprise!
