    striking, Tom!
    i googled around again, and for me the most logical name would be Cirrhopetalum retusiusculum, based on the "rounded" petals.

    That is what it looks like, Ron. and some Bulbo. experts or hobbyists think the same too but there are some differences too. I am going to leave it as just an unindentified species for now until someday a taxo will give it a firm identification.

    From information that I have, this can be Bulbophyllum vietnamense Seiden. 1979

    Canh, there is no info on such a species. Kew doesn't have it in its database either. Bulbo. vietnamense has been mentioned on a Vietnamese forum(I think, and if I remember it right), with all due respects, I don't weight on that identification too much.

    Edit; Canh, I just checked with Kew, Bulbo. vietnamense is listed on its database now. It wasn't listed when you posted yours last year.
