It blooms earlier than it used to be this year. Its florescence is quite long but pity that has no fragrance. Also have no idea in its ID.
Lovely bright splash of color with this orchid.
I have always loved the flowes on the Barkeria. Very nice.
Oh, I just love this...beautiful color, beautiful shape!!!
I visited China (Sichuan) this summer. I didn't plan the trip for orchid purpose, so it was a surprise to see so many Cyperipedium in wild. But I had only one day in Huanglong Natural reserve , and didn't get to spend as much as I would like. I guess I need to plan another trip for orchids
How lovely - the flowes are really pretty, and the color on the foliage is interesting, too.
Wel lgorwn plant and great flowers. It is Barkeria scandens, BTW
Thanks Lars.Kurth for the Id so pretty indeed.
