I was quite chuffed when this flowered, then I was at a show two and a half hour north of here where there was one a mass of flowers almost the size of a tennis ball. Deflated me a little bit. But I still think it a neat little plant.Though not easy to get a good picture of. One day I must learn to do the close upps betterName: 2011_11302Cricket0035.JPG

Ted, I think that it's increadibly beautiful! It's a tiny, precious jewel! Why so glum...I would be very happy with it, if it were mine...Betty

I do the same thing...see someone else's plant growing spikes with more flowers than mine and get upset at mine. lol But I agree with Betty...the flowers on this one are so pretty i'd have to forgive it the small number of flowers.

Neat only? It is one of the rarest African species(it belongs to the Angraecoid family). I will mortgage my house if I find one here in U.S....Thank you very much for the photo.

I love it - and love how it's growing on a little cork. Beautiful flowers and I think you captured the photographs wonderfully. Thank you, Ted, for sharing this rare gem.
