Here are "special photos" that are included in a special topic that we do every year on the French forum: the Advent Calendar (each participant must post an existing bloom each day, if possible for the entire duration of Advent). For this calendar, we can unleash our imagination. Personaly, I do not like to distort the flowers.
Unfortunately, no bloom from december 8 to december 17. And I'm not sure to finish the game !
I hope you will enjoy our game.
I gave this plant a personal clonal name 'Annette'. Annette was a very good friend who gave me this Laelia few months before her death.

Wow! I love these pictures, Eric!
Thanks for sharing. And like you I'm not crazy about the distorted blooms but it makes it interesting.
Wow very creative and good imagination, I like the equestris and yawning lion.
Bravo, Eric! What a cool idea. Love seeing the beautiful photos. And I really love Annette's Laelia. I have several orchids that I have named after dear friends both living and passed on. It is so nice to be reminded of our friendships each time they bloom.
Some beautiful flowers Eric! I loved your artistic renderings! Were you using Photoshop?
I got a chuckle out of the whimsical equestris-lion photo.
