Default Baby Rhy. gigantea (deep orange & "plai cartoon") - Other Survivor from Floods

We've seen some more blooms last week--a bit surprising, as we've not hoped much for this year. This's the small size (a little bigger than seedling sizes I guess) with unexpected bloom to come a year sooner.

The orange ones with bright & vivid color tone.

The one called "Plai Cartoon", is the common name in Thai language for
Rhy. gigantea 'Stripes' with special characteristic that differs from the usual "stripes" ones,
which is deeper & more solid of the violet red spots clearly seperated from the white background (not blurry stripes, bloches).
The spots can clearly be visible from the backside as well....(just come across my mind that next time we should shoot the backside petals of these
too, this time we just didn't think about that).

I've some more pictures of the blooms in orange & plai "cartoon" (the medium size, but all were of last year's),
I'll post them later after finishing upload this year's bloom photos.

    Thank you, Zain!
So, get yourself one, then. Actually the spike should be more bushy & longer, but these are small kids.

I don't think I've ever seen one with that much orange before. Quite nice!

The "orange" really can be varied, I also see the lighter but more sweet feeling of pinkish peach ones, too! : )

Me too, but it depends on period of time, sometimes I feel like the red one is my favourites for their ruby cherry red color, sometimes goes with pure white ones (I totally like those round white flowers, simply white), sometimes I feel...the orange is so sweet ^^

Thanks, Gabriela! The first one makes me think of sweet orange!
The white with red purple, I like it this way too, not too large spots, but very deep in color.
If it's more sunny when taken photos, the color should turn to be more reddish violet.
