Rhynchorides Bangkok Sunset is a hybrid between Rhynchorides Thai Noi (Rhynchostylis coelestis X Aerides flabellata) and Aerides houlletiana. This very colorful hybrid is highly fragrance and the plant likes to produce keikis which adds to its attractiveness. Mine has 2 half grown keikis and another 2 is just protruding. Grown in an empty basket and under 50% shade. The only down side, at least on my plant, is the spike is quite soft therefore requires some support to keep it erect. Hopefully it will be harder as it gets older.
I love this!!! I bet it is very fragrant.
Lovely..I have two plants in bloom in my garden at the moment and am loving the fragrance!
What a teriffic rainbow of color...Pink, yellow, & orange ( or is it red? ) Love it! Betty
