My goodness, Tom! Can you give us some details on this amazing display? Like, How long have you had it, how long does it bloom, does it have a fragrance, how big is that plant end to end..... I'm not at all surprised this is yours - great photography of a fantastic plant.

Maura, all the photos I've posted here and other forums are of my own plants. I don't post anything that doesn't belong to me.
I probably have had this one for over 10 years(started it with a tiny cutting, slow grower at first but it grows fast once it has grown to certain size). Flowers are fragrant, long lasting. The whole plant is about 12X18".

Tom - I didn't in any way try to insinuate that it wasn't yours - quite the opposite. I have been on this forum long enough to know you are a great photographer and that you usually post fine specimen-sized species that you have had for a substantial amount of time. I admire your photography, which is why I commented on it as well as the Wow factor of the plant. The questions are genuine - Phillip is just starting out on miniatures and would like to know how long it takes to grow a specimen like that - and what the actual dimensions are, because it's hard to get a perspective on size from the photos alone. That's truly the long and short of it. I'm sorry if my post offended you.

Don't worry about that, Maura. I am not offended at all.

Nice specimen plant, Tom. Did the genus Dinema get dissolved? (I remember this one being renamed Dinema polybulbon.)
