True, it's been given the species name 'hampeliana' before, by no less than Georg Hampel himself. Fortunately the name is a nomen nudum because it has never been published.
I, however would like to refer it under the genus Mastigion. Paleae are not found in any 'true' Cirrhopetalum.
By the way, there is one notable difference between this and the rest of the fascinators from across its range. Hint: it's in the labellum.
