    Default Gongora histrionica in Bloom

Of the seven spikes the two shown here started growing well before the other five that came out. I don't know if the other flowers will all come out at once and being as I understand it relatively short lived flowers, I thought I would post this picture now. I have not gotten close enough to the flowers yet to smell anything. I will try to put my nose to better use tomorrow. AL

Lovely dragons. I see some of your plants are in S/H. Just wonder can we grow this in one?

Hi Mazlan; No I don't have anything growing in S/H. What you see is a couple clear cone containers in home made humidity trays that were just watered. The two Oncidiums your seeing to the right of the hanging Gongora are water hogs (for years now). I am sorry, but I really don't know if this Gongora would do well in S/H or not. It gets watered every three days the year round in my environment, so maybe? AL
