    Default Maxillaria (striata x luteo-alba)

A three-bulb division, from Kev. I hope he'll forgive me for posting this picture and gloating: when it showed up, it immediately started putting out spikes. In addition to these four, it has five more on the way.

My first blooming of a Maxillaria.

Maybe that is the trick to getting them to spike. Wrap them in newspaper, put them in a box, toss them around a few days and then release them!

Man, Sue, you are on a roll. This one is also fantastic. Add it to the list. Yikes, I hope I get a raise soon.

I don't have any Maxillarias, but am rapidly being brought over to trying one. This photo is certainly encouraging me in that direction!

    Cheers,

    Nice color on those.

Sue, are they fragrant at all?
