At long last we had some rain - we need it badly - but it was raining at dawn, and still raining at dusk, and the whole day was dreary ; My wife asked me to put my wet-weather gear on and go and pick some daffodils etc from the garden, to brighten the hall , but I had a better idea, and collected a few plants together in th greenhouse, so I only had one dash through the rain with all the plants in a big box, and then I arraned them when back in the house.
The yellow is one of the "Tiger" Wilsonaras, the two pink ones are of course Miltoniopsis probably Oaisne ( on the left) and Gorey on the right, and the dendrobiums are nameless garden centre ones, I bought cheaply because someone had knocked some plants on the floor and broken some of the spikes and I happened to be on the spot and made an offer.
It's turned fine again now for a few days at least, but I collected 500 gallons or so of lovely water, to refill all my reserve tanks. Great !
Again another great display Geoff.
Lovely collection, and the photography in the first pic. is great. Makes the Milts . look like they are painted.
Thanks for sharing.
How lovely - you have such beautiful stock and use such a good eye to arrange them.
