catasetum cirrhaeoides, one of the mini catasetum series. this plant's bulb is only about three inches tall, the spike length is twice of its bulb. eleven of them on this spike and there is twelve on the second spike. in fact this the size and shape of the flower to some extent do remind me of the denticulatum.
sweet smelling, the smell is something different from most of my catasetums, in fact resembles a faint smell of manuka honey to me.
the flower is 3cm across and about 1 inches tall. this catasetum is shared some similarity with catasetum pulchrum.
Though very small I love the green color so cute Ian.
