Could someone tell me how I should fertilise these terrestrials? Ive been fertilising weekly with the normal foliar sprays and once a month I fertilise my other ground plants with chicken poop. I havent killed my spathoglottis's yet, so I doubt what Im doing is wrong but can anyone with experience growing them pls advise?
Very beautiful !
Thank you Amey.
Saw a photo of Spathoglottis Kimballiana x sp. and it looks quite similar to my spath. Perhaps this is the species parent.
You're welcome Gavin. The key point with spaths is the sun. Those I've seen planted facing the afternoon sun bloom more often.
Some spaths from the pot have since been transferred to the ground. It blends in well with light pink euphorbias.
I realize that this is an old post, but I would like your advice on growing Spathoglotti. I have some purple ones in full sun, and although they are blooming, the leaves have brown dead tips. Any thoughts on why?
