    Default Eria atrovinosa

After a sudden temperature change recently, this is blooming. Last for only 1 day but with a big clump it is quite spectacular. I had to take the pics even though not all of the spikes are opened yet because I will be away for several days and I know they would all be blasted when I get back.

It seems that some of the most spectacular beauty in this world can be quite brief. These blooms are a good example of this truism. AL
