    Default Calanthe triplicata

A severe aphids infestation was fought off with two doses of Malathion. The aphids are gone, but the spikes never quite recovered.

Very nice save from the aphids. The flowers are quite small?

Interesting looking plant. What does the foliage look like? Those spikes look huge (thick), like those on a grammatophylum, but without perspective to the entire plant it's hard to tell in the photo if this is the case. At any rate, you always have some interesting species going! Keep 'em coming.

Very diffrent , I have read that cooking flour will kill aphids ( dry the little %^%$ up , never tried it , but have used rubbing alcohol to get rid of them . I really like your pictures thanks for sharing them . Gin
