    Beautiful plant and flowers! I got to see and smell one of these in bloom at the US Botanic Garden in DC a couple of weeks ago, now I'm trying to recall the nice lemony scent as I look at yours.

    I was re-arranging things today and got a face full of the scent. And yes it has a nice lemony smell....somewhat similar to pledge. I think I have finally found a few vanda types that are happy with my care. Both Aerides I bought at a nursery back in the winter time have bloomed for me. Maybe as time goes by I'll get better with the big vanda as well.
