Difficult to count - but maybe 60 or so flowers. I have three plants of this species now all in pots with medium bark . Two have spikes almost identical ( this is one of them) grown on oposite sides of the greenhouse, differeing primarily i the amount of light the plants get. You see the colour of the leaves here , the other one has leaves almost yellow with the light , but virtually identical flowers. Obviously lkight is not critical !. The hird one is perhaps slightly darker green, but has a shorter spike, maybe only half the length.
It certianly is Aerides time at the moment, as I have several other species all in advanced spike. Watch this space.

I love the crystaline texture displayed in the first Photo. Beautiful species.
I will certainly keep a watch on this space.
    Good growing.
