Do you know if buds will come out on previous leaves that have budded before. Here is mine last year and I'm anxiously awaiting buds this year. Only about 5 new leaves so I may only get a few blooms.

Yes Sheryl. It keeps blooming from the old nubs for years.

Sriram, I'm getting a few new buds but only on new leaves. What you say makes sense because the first time it bloomed for me after I purchased it the whole plant bloomed. Was I supposed to do anything to the nubs after the flowers fell off last year? There is just some darkness on the old nub but doesn't look unusual.

We don't have to do anything to the old nubs. They would certainly bloom. Can you share a picture of a old nub.

Hi Sriram. I'm attaching a pic of a new nub beginning and an old nub. They are only wet because I had just watered. They dry quickly so water doesn't sit in the leaf long. Thank you.

Thanks Sheryl. The black markings are pretty normal. It would bloom from those black markings.
